Alas, another semester of college is about to start. I'm about to embark on my fourth semester of college, aiming to get my BS in Chemistry. Looking back, I have indeed grown a lot since high school. I've learned a lot about myself and my limits. Despite learning of them, though, I still believe that I can push myself past those limits so that I may ultimately achieve what I (and hopefully everyone else) seek - success and happiness. When I can look back on everything I've done and safely say that I did my best given what I have, then I will rest. For now, I must push and do better than before. Always.

'Course, all that seems to be true for anything in general. I like to think I try harder with each passing day to achieve what I seek. But enough with this philosophical-ish babble.

This semester, several of my friends won't be attending classes on this campus. Instead, they'll be abroad in Europe, seeing the world. What I would give to be in their shoes right now. I keep thinking to myself that I maybe I should have taken the opportunity to do the same when it presented itself. But alas, I didn't. There was no real reason behind my not taking the opportunity. Well, maybe except for the fact that it would make it harder for me to take the required courses that I need for my degree. I would have to take a science over the shortened summer semester... Not exactly my cup of tea. Having my brain explode over the summer because of Organic Chemistry or, even worse, Physical Chemistry would not have been a good thing.

In any case, I hope this upcoming semester goes well for everyone, both for the people that I know and those that happened to stumble across this blog. Enjoy it! The time for the dive into the "real adult world" draws ever closer, so we have to take everything we can outta what's left of these college semesters. ^_^ Ganbatte yo~! ("Do your best~!" in Japanese. MAN, I AM PSYCHED TO BE TAKING JAPANESE THIS SEMESTER.)
